Casey TuttleCasey Tuttle - Owner/Program Director/Head Coach

Casey was brought up in a healthy and active home and has been active in sports all her life. She was an All-State volleyball player in high school and later went on to play collegiate volleyball. When she got out of college she realized she needed another avenue to fuel her want to stay in shape. She started competing in figure competitions and is currently a National Level Figure Competitor. Casey combines her passions of working out and helping others realize their full potential through boot camp. Competing in sports and the strict regimen of prepping for Figure shows, Casey has learned that persistence and consistency are key in order to reach your goals. Casey leads her campers by example, and shows them that with these two things, anything is possible.

Casey brings it full throttle to those that have the desire to change and be empowered by all that life has to offer. Those who wish to get unstuck in life, and are willing to start doing something about it are invited to get on board for this great Adventure. You’ll be supported and motivated, all while having fun!

Casey has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Fitness Management, is a NESTA Certified Adventure Boot Camp instructor and NSCA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer.


AmandaAmanda Hjelvik - Assistant Boot Camp Coach

Growing up Amanda Hjelvik was always an active kid, whether it was playing outside or playing sports. Softball was her sport of choice as she played from grade school  through high school. After high school she stopped playing sports and health and fitness were put on the back burner.  Being inactive and having poor eating habits resulted in Amanda putting on a lot of extra weight. This gave her a new load of "problems". Her feet hurt all the time, and she was exhausted no matter how much sleep she got. About 3 years ago, Amanda’s life took a drastic turn. She had some things happen in her personal life that made her step back and reevaluate how she was living. It was at that moment she decided to take control and start taking care of HER. She started out slowly, doing some walking and running and then eventually joined a gym. She started cutting back on portions and with these little changes the weight started coming off. Before she knew it, she was back on track.

Going through these ups and downs made Amanda realize she wanted to help other's choose a healthier lifestyle. She is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, an Adventure Boot Camp Instructor and is certified in CPR and First Aid. Being a healthier person is now a part of her life and anything other than that is not an option!

With the knowledge that she has gained through living a healthier lifestyle, her goal is now to help others realize their own potential in getting fit and healthy.


TamiTami Bebee - Assistant Boot Camp Coach

Tami became a fitness fan in her thirties. Growing up with rheumatoid arthritis limited her activities and participation in sports as a child. With the arthritis in remission and a bridesmaid dress in her future, she started the Billings Adventure Boot Camp experience. Tami describes her relationship with food in the past as unhealthy. Her weight fluctuated from high school through adulthood. She often tried the fad diets and experienced immediate but fleeting results.

Tami, like many women, limited her food intake daily and often skipped meals. She was not able to complete her workouts with the intensity that she wanted because her energy was low.  She began digging into the nutritional guidelines to support her workouts. Through that process, she discovered a new passion. Finally feeling in control of her eating and food choices, and realizing that food has one purpose (to fuel the body) was liberating.  She now eats more than ever before and has energy throughout the day. Sharing this information with others who have struggled with a poor self image and yo -yo dieting was her motivation for becoming a NESTA certified personal trainer. Tami also completed NESTA Fitness Nutrition Coach training.

Tami successfully conquered a healthy lifestyle with a hectic work and travel schedule.  Her “no excuses” attitude led to a dramatic physical transformation with a rigorous travel schedule. She has made a healthy lifestyle a priority, and has discovered a variety of ways to make this possible no matter what is going on in her life.

Tami draws from her personal experiences and accomplishments to support clients in fueling their bodies appropriately to achieve their fat loss and fitness goals.


Dr. John Spencer Ellis - Support Staff

Dr. John Spencer EllisEach week, over one million people around the world enjoy a fitness program created by John Spencer Ellis. His fitness programs are implemented in the top resorts, spas and health clubs. John is the President of NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) and the Spencer Institute for Life Coaching. These two professional associations have 45,000 members in 30 countries. John is on the Advisory Boards of the National Health, Wellness and Prevention Congress, Exercise TV, Conference for Healthy Living, Irvine Valley College, Get America Fit Foundation, and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. He is the author of "How Badly Do You Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness," and a contributor to "Power of Champions." He created Adventure Boot Camp, the largest fitness boot camp program in the world. His signature series of outdoor fitness equipment is used in communities worldwide. John has been featured or quoted in every major fitness publication, and held the post of Fitness Editor for OC Flair magazine. John has been featured on NBC, CBS, PBS, SPIKE, ESPN & Bravo. He serves as an on-air expert for Life & Leisure Television and Health Journal Television with General Norman Schwarzkopf. He is the producer and host of The OC Body on The Healthy Living Channel. John is a Nautilus sponsored athlete and stars in the workout DVDs Playground Boot Camp™ & Kung-Fu Fitness™. John created the fitness program used by the U.S. Secret Service and he consults the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championships).

John has been continuing his professional education since 1987, and holds bachelors degrees in business and health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He is currently completing a second doctorate in naturopathy. He has fifteen certifications including massage therapy, plyometrics, self-defense, fitness kick boxing, fitness boxing, water fitness, exercise rehabilitation, golf conditioning, Pilates, personal training, clinical hypnotherapy, sports hypnosis, PACE circuit training and yoga. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon, and finished 5th at the U.S. National Biathlon Championships. His medical training includes a license in radiological technology, a medical assisting certification, and training in McKenzie rehabilitation. John was nominated for the California Community College Distinguished Alumni Award.


Kelli Calabrese - Support Staff

Kelli CalabreseKelli Calabrese, MS, CSCS is the International Master Trainer for Adventure Boot Camp and does the Coach Training to prepare qualified candidates to become Adventure Boot Camp Coaches. Calabrese has been a spokesperson, consultant, advisor or expert for clients such as The American Council on Exercise, NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Training Association), the National Board of Fitness Examiners, Athletic Baby, The Aerobic & Fitness Association of America, National Board of Fitness Examiners, Smuckers, Kellogg, Glaxo Smith Klein, The Watermelon Council and Quaker Oats. 

At the age of 22 Kelli had completed 3 Science degrees including an Associates in Biology, Bachelors with High Honors in Exercise Physiology and a Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation. Since 1986, Kelli has acquired 23 fitness, nutrition, weight management and lifestyle consulting certifications. For 14 years she co-owned and operated a chain of 4 fitness centers (Excellence in Exercise) and 4 corporate centers with clients such as Calvin Klein Cosmetics, Nabisco and Beneficial Insurance. In 1991 Calabrese opened Xercise Institute, the first school for preparing candidates for the American Council on Exercise's Personal Training exams. 

Kelli’s personal mission is to empower individuals with the tools to make health, fitness and wellness a permanent and enjoyable part of their lives. She does this through teaching and coaching both consumers and fitness professionals to be their personal best.
